Head Production Chef.
You will lead and be in charge of planning and creating new menu items, prepping items for our Grab n Go menu, lazy brunches, and fresh salads for our 3 busy cafés plus managing and taking care of our wholesale customer orders and corporate catering. We pride ourselves in producing real, wholesome and delicious food, offered at a fair price to ensure our community is always well nourished.
Your skills and experience:
A background in breakfast and lunch work is preferred
Proven experience in working with a team
Must be able to work independently, be organised and have time management skills
Communication, reliability, integrity & enthusiasm
The ability to produce high quality food in a busy environment
What we require:
You are available for immediate start.
You can work in a team environment as a team leader who can mentor the team, direct and manage the day-to-day operations, ordering and maintaining stock, work with computers to create costings, recipes and product development
You are a strongly organised person who can plan ahead and strategise systems and procedures to enable an easy work flow.
You understand our culture, loyalty and philosophy
You have passion & creativity for your trade - essential
You are proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude. We are generally a company that doesn’t say ‘no’. We put the customer first in all aspects of our job. We always say yes, then find the best way to make it happen.
